Letter from Sabato Morais to Robert Lyon, written on February 17, 1856, from Philadelphia. Morais explains that he cannot fulfill Lyon's request to publish his address because the managers of the Foster-home have already decided to publish it in the Occident at their expense. He had already sent a copy of his address to the secretary. Morais expresses his regret at not being able to publish in Lyon's periodical, but states he believes Lyon will approve of his decision. The letter is written on one page across four sheets.
