Letter from Isaac Moses Jr. to Isaac Leeser, March 10, 1846
Description
Letter from Isaac Moses, Jr. to Isaac Leeser, written in New York City on March 10, 1846. Moses acknowledges receipt of a letter from Leeser but states that he has not yet received a package containing the Pentateuch. He expresses his interest in keeping the Pentateuch if it is bound, otherwise he will accept another copy. He requests a set of daily holiday prayers when a smaller edition is published. He mentions forwarding a subscription request to his brother in China for the Occident. The letter also includes brief mentions of receiving letters from Jacob and Abm. Joseph, and comments about Hanford, a 'Vidder's' marriage, and Wolfe.
