Description
Letter from John M. Krebs, Stated Clerk of the Synod of New York, to Isaac Leeser. Krebs acknowledges receipt of Leeser's communication and the manuscript of Mr. Peynado in reply to the Address to the Jews by the Synod of New York. He also notes receiving a copy of the January 'Occident' containing Dr. Schlessinger's article. Krebs explains that the Synod will consider the replies at its next annual meeting in October.
