Description
Letter from David Judah to Isaac Leeser, written in New York City on April 12, 1849. Judah writes that he passed through Philadelphia in a hurry and intended to stay one day on his return. He proposes to meet Leeser at the Cars on Monday if the smallpox rumor is true; otherwise, he will remain in Philadelphia until the next day. He expresses his desire to see Aunt Grace but avoids the risk. He also asks Leeser to remember him to Ms. Cozens & family and Florence's family.
