Abraham Harris writes to Isaac Leeser to relay a conversation he had with Dr. Mayer concerning Leeser. Mayer recounts a conversation where Leeser expressed indignation and contempt toward Harris, stemming from a belief that Harris had been dishonest about his religious orthodoxy.
