Description
Letter from M. Mayer to Reverend Isaac Leeser regarding the submission of a translation of Dr. Philippsar's essay on the trial and condemnation of Jesus for publication in *The Occident*. Mayer sends the first installment of the translation, about one-fifth of the whole, and offers to send more to complete the work in four months. He also requests the return of the manuscript if *The Occident* is not interested.
