Four-page letter from Abraham Reis in Baltimore to Isaac Leeser in Philadelphia, dated 11 December 1848 (11 Shevat 5608). Reis discusses his reading of Leopold Zung's "Zur Geschichte und Literatur," criticizing Zung's approach to biblical criticism.
