Description
Jacob Mendes de Sola writes on the 23rd of Iyar 1851 (5611) to thank I. L. for having recommended him to the community of Richmond to Mr. J. A. Levy of that congregation. He, J the writer, was elected Hazan and teacher. He asks I. L. to suggest text books. There is mention also of Mr. A. Hart of Phila. to whom the writer sends greetings.
