Three-page letter from A. Myerston in Puerto Cabello, Venezuela, to Isaac Leeser in Philadelphia, PA. Myerston thanks Leeser for a portrait and books, and expresses regret at being unable to procure palms and citrons. He mentions plans to travel to Curaçao for Yom Kippur, and requests a print of the Temple in a rosewood frame. A postscript discusses the small Jewish community in Puerto Cabello and their limited ability to contribute to the Holy Land.
