Letter from H. A. Henry in San Francisco to Isaac Leeser in Philadelphia. Henry apologizes for not writing sooner, stating he has little of interest to report. He inquires about the price and shipping of Leeser's Portuguese Mahzorim and shares a prospectus for his own upcoming publication. Henry comments on Leeser's response to Mr. De Solla regarding the interment question and requests pamphlets on the subject. He discusses Mr. Nathan's new position and offers his opinion of him. Finally, he asks about news of Wise and Lilienthal and the progress of the war.
