Letter from M. W. Strouse of Wilkes Barre, PA to Reverend Isaac Leeser in Philadelphia, PA. Strouse writes that he received Leeser's letter and has collected money from H. Ansbacher and S. Ullmann. He discusses sales of prayer books, plans to collect the remaining balance (except for M. Lang, who is a "bad case"), and offers to get subscribers for Leeser's paper. He mentions leaving a sermon with M. Lang. The letter is written on three pages across two sheets.
