Levy encloses a check for a debt and relays a request from Mr. Edward Gratz for two additional copies of "Jewish Faith" to be delivered to No. 1619 Arch St., Philadelphia.

Carnahan informs Leeser that he will be in Philadelphia in late November and will visit him then, as he will not have time during a brief visit the following week. He explains that he will be better prepared to bring books at that later date and will have more time to visit.
