Letter from A. Canter to Isaac Leeser;May 30, 1854 A. Canter writes to Isaac Leeser from New York City to inform him not to send any more copies of *The Occident* to Mr. Keustadt. He requests that one be sent to Mr. Goodman at 66 Elm Street and others to California, as directed. He inquires about the lack of copies sent to Paris and Holland for the past two months. He mentions that he cannot provide back issues requested by Mr. Thickler because old books received from Mr. Seixas are packed away and are at Leeser's disposal. Canter notes that he has not moved and that Mr. Caro is asking for his bill. He mentions sending the last two issues. The letter includes a wax seal.
