Isaac Stein writes to Rabbi Moses Katzendenbogen inquiring about certain Hebrew letters which the latter had sent to Leeser for translation into English, and with regard to which Leeser had been silent for over two months.

He mentions that it could have been sold for $80 in Syracuse but that the seller, a Polander, was untrustworthy, requiring De Youngh to provide security. He also mentions trying to keep A. L. Levy as a subscriber and trying to get more subscribers. A postscript notes that he received the Hebrew letter and lacks time to have a box made.
